The mask — or absence of one — defines the character of your catsuit more than almost any other option. Combined with your choice of feet and crotch closure, it determines how enclosed the suit feels. We offer four configurations, from completely open to fully enclosed.
Available Options
None — Open Head
The suit terminates at the neckline with no hood attached. Full face and hair remain visible.
- Coverage: Neckline only
- Comfort: No restriction — easy to wear in any environment
- Best for: Versatility, first-time wearers, pairing with other headwear
All Closed — Full Enclosure
A fully enclosed hood covers the entire head with no openings. Small nostril holes are integrated for breathing.
- Coverage: Total — maximum anonymity
- Comfort: Sensory restriction; requires comfort with full enclosure
- Best for: Dramatic visual impact, advanced wearers, total-coverage builds (pairs well with full socks)
⚠ Good to Know
Full enclosure hoods require accurate head measurements and a degree of comfort with restricted vision. We recommend trying a simpler hood option on your first suit.
Open Mouth
A hood with a mouth cutout provides near-full enclosure while keeping the mouth and jaw free. The cutout is finished with a rolled edge for comfort.
- Coverage: Head covered, mouth and jaw visible
- Comfort: Easy breathing, speaking, and drinking
- Best for: Balance of drama and practicality
Eyes & Mouth Open
★ Most Popular Choice
This is our most requested hood option — expressive, functional, and suitable for extended wear at events or photoshoots.
Openings for both eyes and mouth give you an expressive, functional hood that still covers the head and frames the face.
- Coverage: Head framed — eyes and mouth visible
- Comfort: Full peripheral vision; suitable for extended wear
- Best for: Events, photography, extended wear
Side-by-Side Comparison
| Option | Coverage | Breathing | Recommended For |
|---|---|---|---|
| None | Neckline only | Unrestricted | All-round, first suit |
| All Closed | Total | Nostril holes | Full enclosure, advanced |
| Open Mouth | Head covered | Full | Dramatic but practical |
| Eyes & Mouth | Head framed | Full | Events, photography |
Fit & Measurement Notes
All mask options require specific head and face measurements, collected as part of your measurement profile:
- Head circumference — around the widest part, above the ears
- Crown-to-chin — over the top of the head from hairline to chin
- Eye/mouth positioning — only for open-eye or open-mouth hoods (we provide a face template)
💡 Fit Tip
A well-fitted hood should feel snug but not constricting, with no loose material bunching at the back of the head. If you’re unsure about fit, our team can guide you through the measurement process.
