Latex thickness is one of the most important choices you will make when configuring your catsuit. It affects the way the suit feels against your skin, how it drapes over your body, its durability, and its overall visual character. We offer six gauges, each with distinct properties. Thickness also influences which suit entry method works best and how the suit responds to chlorination.
0.25 mm — Ultra-Thin, Sheer (+20%)
At a quarter of a millimetre, this is our thinnest option. It produces an almost transparent, second-skin effect that clings tightly to every contour. The material is extremely lightweight and supple, making it ideal for warm environments or layering under clothing. Because it is cut from a specialist sheet, it carries a 20% surcharge over the standard gauge.

0.40 mm — Standard (no surcharge)

If this is your first catsuit — or you simply want a versatile, everyday-wearable piece — 0.40 mm is the way to go. It is our baseline gauge and carries no surcharge.
Our default and most popular option. 0.40 mm strikes the ideal balance between flexibility and resilience. It is opaque, forgiving of minor imperfections in fit, and comfortable for extended wear.

0.60 mm — Firmer, Sculptural (+20%)
Six-tenths of a millimetre of latex adds noticeable body to the suit. The material holds its shape more firmly, creating structured silhouettes and deeper reflections. An excellent choice for photographic work or stage performance.

0.80 mm — Heavy-Duty, Structured (+40%)
0.80 mm is built for durability and presence. This gauge produces a pronounced, sculptural profile with a deep gloss. It is heavier on the body and less stretchy, which means precise measurements become critical.

1.00 mm — Extra-Heavy, Rigid (+60%)
A full millimetre of latex delivers an imposing, near-rigid garment with an intense mirror gloss. Movement is deliberate and restricted, and the suit holds its form almost like a shell. Reserved for wearers who want maximum presence and weight.

1.20 mm — Maximum Weight, Armour-Like (+80%)
Our heaviest gauge. At 1.20 mm the latex behaves almost like armour — extremely rigid, weighty, and commanding, with the deepest gloss we offer. This is a specialist choice for statement pieces and demands exact measurements and zip entry.

How It Affects Pricing
Thicker latex uses more material and is harder to work, so each heavier gauge adds a percentage surcharge to your suit: 0.40 mm is the standard with no surcharge, 0.25 mm and 0.60 mm add 20%, 0.80 mm adds 40%, 1.00 mm adds 60%, and 1.20 mm adds 80%. You can compare every option in the configurator.
