Suit Entry
Neck entry, back zip, or front zip — how you get in and out, and which style suits you.
At a Glance
- ▸Three entry methods: Neck, Back Zip, Front Zip
- ▸Neck entry = cleanest look, no hardware
- ▸Zippers = easier dressing, visible hardware
- ▸Easiest solo dressing: Front Zip
Every catsuit needs a way in. The entry method affects the silhouette, the ease of dressing, and the position of visible hardware. Your choice here works hand-in-hand with your latex thickness and chlorination level — thinner latex and higher chlorination both make dressing easier.
Available Options
Neck Entry — Pull-On Through Neck
With no zipper at all, the suit is entered by stretching the neck opening wide enough to step through. This produces the cleanest possible silhouette — no metal hardware, no zipper bulge, and an unbroken surface from collar to ankle.
- Dressing: Requires more effort and flexibility
- Recommended thickness: 0.25–0.4 mm (needs enough stretch)
- Appearance: Seamless — no visible hardware anywhere
- Best for: Minimalists who want a hardware-free look
⚠ Good to Know
Neck entry works best with thinner latex (0.25–0.4 mm). At 0.5 mm or above, the material may not stretch enough for comfortable entry without risking damage. Light chlorination also helps by reducing interior stickiness.
Back Zip — Rear Zipper Entry
A heavy-duty YKK zipper runs down the centre of the back, from the nape of the neck to the lower back. This is the most traditional catsuit entry and offers a good balance between aesthetics and practicality.
- Dressing: May need assistance to close fully (or a zipper pull extension)
- Front appearance: Clean — zipper is completely hidden from view
- Best for: Traditional styling, clean front look
Front Zip — Front Zipper Entry
The zipper runs down the front centre of the torso. This makes the suit easy to put on and take off without help. The zipper line also creates a bold visual element that pairs well with body-contour seams.
- Dressing: Easy solo dressing — no help needed
- Front appearance: Visible zipper line (a deliberate design element)
- Best for: Solo dressing, thicker latex, structured builds
★ Recommendation
If you dress alone and want the easiest experience, front zip is the most convenient. If aesthetics come first, back zip keeps the front clean. Neck entry is for purists who want zero hardware.
Side-by-Side Comparison
| Entry | Pros | Cons |
|---|---|---|
| Neck | Seamless look, no hardware | Harder to dress, needs thin latex |
| Back Zip | Clean front, traditional | May need help closing |
